News Flash !! Frank just got back from IALEFI's annual training conference, so look for the new classes that the Academy is going to offer including several special Ladies only classes and a "BACK TO BASIC'S CLASS" that experienced shooting will really enjoy.

Personal Protection in the Home:

This course is about 8 hours long and is designed for newly licensed CHL students who can pass a basic skills test, and the intermediate to advance handgun shooters.

The course is designed for law abiding adult citizens. It includes information on state law concerning Handgun Possession, Ownership and the Use of Deadly force. It also covers Strategies for Home Safety and defending your home against intruders. 

Participants must be experienced shooters (shooters able to show mastery of the basic skills of safe gun handling, shooting a group, zeroing the firearm, clearing malfunctions and cleaning the firearm) to maximize what can be learned from this course. It will introduce the student to defensive shooting and teach basic defensive handgun skills.

It exposes the student to several schools of thought regarding defensive shooting techniques.

Once the fundamentals are learned, students are exposed to new ideas in a measured fashion and encouraged to experiment and choose techniques best suited to them.

Attractive certificates are awarded to participants who successfully complete each course.
