Hello firearm enthusiasts,
My name is William Watson. I have been employed by the San Antonio Police
Department as a Patrol Officer for the last 4 years. Prior to my SAPD
employment, I served in the Air Force National Guard for 4 years, and the Army
National Guard for 3 years. While in the Army Guard, I was part of a combat
marksmanship team, where I learned many tricks for improving accuracy on the old
warn out M16's. Aside from general repair and upgrade on most fireams, I also
specialize in DuraCoat Firearm Finishes.
I have been shooting since I was old enough to safely fire a Daisy BB gun. My
father was a small time gunsmith for many years, and taught me what he knew as
he raised me. Over the years I have continued to build on the knowledge he gave
me. However, the most important things my father taught me were to take pride in
my workmanship, do things right the first time, and treat customers like family.
I am not to proud to know my limitations. I want to be your gunsmith, but will
be more than willing to point you in the right direction if something is beyond
my knowledge. I'm going to be around for many years, God willing, and I look
forward to serving you. I want people to think of Wetmore Shooting Sports as
their trustworthy friend in the firearms community.
