First of all I would like to thank you for visiting our web site, .. I am Franklin Clayton Boyer II ...  I am the current  FFL for Wetmore Shooting Sports & the Chief Firearms Instructor for The Training Academy @  for Wetmore, but most importantly I am a Christian man who's been called to the ministry. I am a member of  Harvest Fellowship Church here in Northeast San Antonio I am also a proud member of the San Antonio Police Department  were I serve as a Police Communications Call Taker for the past 10 years ( 911 operator for short ).

I started shooting at a tender age of 11, when my Uncle Roy took my brother            ( William H. Boyer ) and I out to do a little day camping with his sons & shoot for the first time, we went to the mountains in the Angles National Forest  just north of Los Angeles, California and have had the shooting bug since, in fact I have my first rifle I bought while at a garage sale for $10 ( I just turned 16 ), a Winchester Rifle .. single bolt pull back the firing pin rifle style .. what a outstanding 22lr and still have it to this day, from there I went onto shotguns, handgun shooting and then high power rifle shooting ... (lots of great memories shooting with my brother during those days, ask me about spitting bee's sometime).

Since I have always been in a “trainer” mode in my professional career it just came natural for me when someone needed help at a range, I would step up to the plate and lend a hand, it didn’t matter if it was how to shoot or fix a problem with a firearm, for many years my fellow shooters wanted to pay me for helping them, of course I never took a dime.

After people started to toss money at me,  I decided to form Wetmore Shooting Sports, I did my homework found out to be credible I needed to be certified & licensed so I set on a path that has expanded to not only becoming a NRA Instructor but a Texas DPS Handgun Instructor and a hole bunch more certifications and the list goes on from there to also include holding a Federal Instructor for DHS & a  Federal Firearms License where I assist Law Enforcement Officers and Law Abiding Citizens to buy and transfer firearms in the most cost effective manner in South Texas.

I have also teamed up with a co-op firearms group for purchasing power and several other top end wholesale firearms distributors, shooting ranges and most immortally several Christian brothers who are top notch firearms instructors and range safety officers to assure you the best experience for you.

I love what I do, and I would love to add you to our client family, we specialize in personal attention, ladies only classes, classes for the physically challenged.

In 2008 we incorporated in this Great State of Texas our parent company is Wetmore Mgt Service Inc, As of January 1st, 2010,  I am  serving  as the Chairman of the Board and President of Operations ( which means I wear a whole bunch of hats).
